Here at Turnaround we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the support services you have requested from us. 

The information we need... 

Turnaround are the ‘controller’ of all the personal data you provide to us. Our Company Registration Number is 10438942, and Registered Office is Kemp House, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. 

What we need and why we need it... 

By the very nature of the services we offer, and in order to provide you with a basic level of support we need to know the following ‘personal’ and ‘sensitive personal’ data about you including • Your Name • Location Data (inc address) • Identification Number (inc telephone) • Social Identity/Occupation. We will also need to document your • Age Range and/or DOB • Racial/Ethnic Origin. If the level of support requested by you changes we may need to know additional information which could include • Health Data • Financial Data • Criminal Convictions and Offences 

If you do not provide us with the information requested it may be that we will be unable to provide the support your require. We will inform you immediately if this is the case. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide the support services we have agreed to provide you with. 

What we do with your information... 

All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by Turnaround staff (in the UK) and no third parties will have access to your personal and sensitive data unless you consent*** to us sharing the information or there is a legal obligation for us to do so, as per the circumstances below : 

1. A child is at risk of abuse or neglect
2. There is risk of physical harm to another adult
3. A vulnerable adult is at risk of abuse
4. You are at risk of serious self-harm
6. Turnaround West Midlands Community Interest Company is forced by a court order to divulge this information
7. It is absolutely necessary to maintain Turnaround West Midlands Community Interest Companies reputation for the benefit of everyone  

Your personal data will be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located in the European Union (for further information please contact us) however we take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed securely. 

*** Upon requesting support from Turnaround your consent will be required for us to process and share your personal data as instructed by you. It is your choice to instruct us to provide you with social support tailored to your individual needs, however, this will require you to read, complete and sign our Information Sharing/ Confidentiality Consent Form before we can commence any work with you. 

It is easy for you to withdraw your consent at any time you just need to contact a member of staff by phone, e-mail or post. Please remember that withdrawing your consent at any time doesn’t mean that you can’t access our services again in the future. 

How long we keep your information for... 

We keep your personal data for a minimum of 6 months after you have disengaged with our service, after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained.

Your individual rights and entitlements... 

You have the right to obtain the personal data processed by Turnaround on your behalf along with any supplementary information held by us in order that you can be aware of and verify the lawfulness of our processing. The information will be provided free of charge and within one month of your request.  You also have the right for any inaccurate personal data held by Turnaround to be rectified accordingly. In certain circumstances your personal data maybe erased, or restrictions imposed and you also have the right to object to the way your data is being processed. If you are concerned about any information you believe we hold about you please contact our Data Protection Officer immediately.
